Britain's Got Talent Audition
The choir expanded from 21 to over 50 children for a special moment - to audition on Britain's Got Talent, with their song, Welcome Home. They received a big 'yes' from all of the judges and proceeded to the semi finals!

Britain's Got Talent Live Semi Finals
To prepare for the semi-finals, the choir worked together on a new song, Stand Up, which, following their performance, did indeed receive a standing ovation! While they didn't win, it was an unforgettable experience.

National Memorial Arboretum
The choir had the privilege of singing at the NMA for the national Armed Forces Day celebration. The Princess Royal in attendence and congratulated the group after their performance.

Meet the Conductor
Mars West is a London-based composer, arranger and choir director. They are currently completing an MA in Music Therapy with Nordoff Robbins. In addition to conducting NSI, Mars runs their own choir in North London, exploring a mixture of classical, folk and contemporary repertoire.
Their practice investigates the use of flexible parts, exploring different approaches to collective singing. Their wider practice also encompasses composition and visualisation, including their moving image piece yeh good whenever, which was showcased at the SCFA Visual Music Festival in 2025.
