Share your own unique perspective of war and conflict. Consider what has shaped this — your experiences, nationality, heritage, gender, proximity, age, education and more. Join our conversation, send your voice across borders and inspire others around the world.

FAQs

Q: How do I enter the competition?
A: Go to: www.neversuchinnocence.com/2026-27-competition
 

Q: When is the competition deadline?
A: The competition will open on the Monday 28 September 2026 and close on Friday 26 February 2027. Winers will be announced by Wednesday 5 May 2027.
 

Q: Can I enter more than one piece of work?
A: You can enter one piece in each category (Poetry, Art & Film).
 

Q: I am not between the ages of 9-18. Can I still enter?
A: We would love to see your work, but unfortunately you cannot win.
 

Q: What are the prizes for winners?
A: Winners have their work published in a digital booklet, receive an NSI prize pack and are invited to take part in special opportunities.
