A Fight for Freedom

During the Second World War, the countries of the Commonwealth made important military, social and economic contributions to Great Britain’s ability to fight against the Axis powers (Germany, Japan, Italy and their allies).  The conflict had a profound impact on Commonwealth nations both during and after the war.
